The captain of the English Premier League giants, Manchester United, have been stripped off his duty as the captain of the club.
He made this known himself in a tweet when he revealed that after a discussion with the coach, Erik ten Hag, he is no longer the captain of the club.
In what he termed “disappointing”, Maguire thanked the fans of the club and the former coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær for giving him the opportunity to serve the club for over 3 years as the captain.

He also explained that the new captain of the club will be revealed in due course by the manager.
Meanwhile, Chelsea, Newcastle and Westham are in a battle to sign the former United skipper, Sky Sports UK revealed. Maguire who costed Manchester United £80m in 2019 come as cheap as half that pride due to dip in form over time.
He has been brandished as one of the error-prone defenders in the English Premier League since joining the club.
The club seem ready to move on from the defender under the new leadership of Coach Erik Ten Hag.
