INTRODUCTION
Linus Chinedu Okorie, better known by his professional name Linus Okorie, is a leadership consultant and author who was born in Nigeria on April 30, 1974. He serves as the president of Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI), a nonprofit organization that focuses on leadership development and has its headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.

EARLY LIFE/EDUCATION
Linus grew in Cameroon, more specifically in the South West Province, in a town called Kumba. Linus Okorie was born in Egbuoma, which is located in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
His primary education was received at Saint John’s primary School in Kumba, Southwest Province, Cameroon. He then continued his education at Government Secondary School in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. He attended Imo State University in Owerri, where he majored in History and International Relations and later became the first student to be chosen president of the Students’ Union. He attended Regent University in the United States and received his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership there.

CAREER
While he was still in school, he started the Guardians of the Nation International organization by rallying other young people who shared his beliefs about effective leadership (GOTNI). After completing his National Youth Service in Abuja at the National Assembly (NYSC), he moved on to the Lagos Business School. There, he accepted a position as the Research and Executive Assistant to Prof. Pat Utomi, the Director of the Lagos Business School of the PAN African University. He is currently working in this capacity.
He also established the organization. In addition to speaking at conferences, he is a frequent guest on a variety of radio and television shows, as well as print media outlets, all throughout Nigeria. He hosts “The Leadership Clinic” both on the radio and on television. A graduate of the International Visitors Leadership Programme, Okorie was born in Nigeria (IVLP).

Third World Leadership Association (TWLA) is headquartered in the Bahamas, and Dr. Myles Munroe serves as the organization’s Chairman. He is a member of TWLA. Linus serves on the board of directors for the Imo State University Alumni Association. Both the Senate Committee for Integration in Africa and the National Assembly Joint Committee on Constitution Review (2002) appointed him as an Assistant Secretary for their respective committees.
