Story: About Women Techmakers Ambassadors (WTA)

Over the years efforts has been made to actively involve women in the world’s advancement. The Women Techmakers Ambassadors are leaders geared towards empowering women in workplace and dismantling gender-based barriers in the field of technology. These leaders are zealously interested about empowering their environs via public speaking, mentorship, content creation and organizing events. The Women Techmakers Ambassadors have been able to create a world where women can flourish in technology with exclusive resources and access to a worldwide community.

Women in technology who wants to make a difference and provide services to their community can apply for full funding through the Women Techmakers Ambassadors program. The Women Techmakers Ambassadors offer a variety of services, such as:

1. Public speaking 

   These ambassadors will talk on issues related to the Goggle technology, such as Androids and PCs. Theses speakers can offer their knowledge, competence, and shed additional light on a career path based on technology challenges through public speaking.

2. Content Creating 

   It entails creating contents for a broader tech community such as blogs posts, code snippets, audios and videos that shares knowledge with the larger tech community.

3. Mentorship 

   Mentoring other women in the tech community in order to educate and empower the next generation of technologist.

4. Event organizers

   It involves organizing activities such as support groups, meet-ups and International Women’s day. The events is aimed at educating, empowering, supporting and inspiring women in their tech sector.

It is critical for ambassadors to participate in the above activities on a quarterly basis with active assistance from the ambassadors community and the Goggle team.

The following are some of the advantages of becoming a Woman Techmakers ambassador:

1. Impacts one’s community by organizing events, public speaking, content creating and mentoring with active support from Goggle 
2. Having sole access to Goggle-led talks and workshop programs with topics such as leadership development of skills, abilities, and a deeper understanding on Goggle technologies.
3. Opportunity to network with global ambassadors globally who are passionate about assisting women in the technological world.
4. Allows one’s effort to positively impact women to be recognized by the Women Techmakers team,

 Requirement to be a member of the Women Techmakers Ambassador includes 

1. You must be actively involved to making impact through public speaking, mentorship, organizing programs geared towards empowering women, and creating contents such as blogs or videos in the technological area.
2. Having worked with the Goggle Developers Groups. The Goggle Developers Group organize meetings and programs aimed at developing individual’s technological knowledge and skills.
3. Must be committed to gender equality in technology.
4. Purposeful interest in Goggle technological practices 
5. Must be motivated to further expand one’s technological abilities.
6. Must be above 18years of age.
7. Accountability and Consistency must be a watch word.
