INTRODUCTION
Julius Ucha, who was born on the 19th of October 1958, was elected as the Senator for the Ebonyi Central constituency of Ebonyi State, Nigeria, on the 29th of May 2003. He took office on that date, and he was reelected in 2007. The All Progressives Congress counts him as a party member (APC).

CAREER
Ucha attended Anambra State University of Science & Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He served on the previous iteration of the Enugu State Board of Mercy. After winning the election to serve in the House of Assembly for the state of Ebonyi, he was given the position of Speaker. Ucha was named to the committees on Works, Senate Services, Inter-Parliamentary Affairs, the Independent National Electoral Commission, and Commerce upon his return to the Senate in 2007. ThisDay stated in the midterm evaluation of senators that he had not sponsored any bills but had sponsored or co-sponsored several motions. The evaluation took place in May 2009.
