Over the weekend, Burna Boy made history at New York’s Citi Field by becoming the first ever African and Nigerian artist to sell out a U.S. stadium.
The sold-out show on Saturday, July 8, drew a crowd of over 41,000 people, making it the largest audience for an African artist in the U.S.
His performance at Citi Field was a celebration of African music and culture. He performed a mix of his hit songs, including “Ye”, “On the Low”, and “Location”. He also brought out special guests, including British rapper Dave.
