Ghana Beat CAR To Top Group E AFCON Qualifiers

The Group E AFCON Qualifiers looked set as Ghana beats Central African Republic in the last game of the Qualifiers Group stage on Thursday.

The Ghanian national team trashed the Central African Republic team 2–1 to stay on the top spot of the group.

Meanwhile, Angola who drew Madagascar also managed to qualify by clinching the second position in the group with 9 points.

Other countries who have qualified for the continental nations’ cup include; Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Egypt, Guinea, Algeria, Tanzania, Mali, Zambia, Ivory Coast and Senegal.

The nations’ cup which is slated to hold between the 13th of January and the 11th of February would be the 34th edition of the biennial tournament.
