Supreme Court Justice Chima Nweze Dies At 64

  • The supreme court Justice Chima Nweze have been reported to have given up the ghost. 

The Justice was reported to be the only one who voted against the Governor Hope Uzodinma’s petition in 2020.

The case which became a national controversy as Governor Hope Uzodinma who came a distant 4th in the gubernatorial elections in Imo State was said to have won the election.

Justice Nweze was also said to be part of the judges who sat on the Machina vs Lawan case in 2022.The case which was another nationally controversial one saw Lawan who did not contest for the APC Senatorial Primary Election being declared as the authentic party ticked holder against the winner of the primary; Machina.

Justice Nweze who voted in favor of the then senate president Ahmed Lawan has now been confirmed dead.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
