IPC Justice have said that after concluding their investigation on the claim that says the Chief Justice of Nigeria have been banned from visiting the US. The non-governmental organization with the task of “investigating corruption in politics and judiciary, and holding government accountable.” explained this in a tweet.
“We have read this tweet claiming that the U.S. government has imposed a visa ban on the Chief Justice of Nigeria and six other Supreme Court members. We would like to clarify that this claim is false.”, the NGO said.
They went on to explain that the U.S. government does not publicly announce visa bans on individuals, and any such ban would be a private matter.
