Alex Otti, the new Governor of Abia state who is currently the only Governor in Labour Party have announced the appointment and swearing in of his new cabinets.
As it is mandated in the constitution that every new Governor should form his new cabinet, Alex Otti have fulfilled his obligation.
Otti Congratulates the New Commissioners
He extended a welcoming hand to the new cabinet members and congratulated them on his twitter handle on the 7th of July 2023.

In his words, he said, “Congratulations to our newly sworn-in commissioners. Your wealth of experience and commitment to excellence will be pivotal in this mission.”
Says, They Are Meant To Serve The State And Not Individual Interests
He further told them that the most important thing is to keep in mind that they are to serve the interest of the state and not their personal interests.
“In this role, you will face scrutiny and challenges, but remember, you are here to serve the entire state, not individual interests or clans.”, he said.
Improving Living Conditions Should Be Your Focus, Otti Says
“Focus on job creation, poverty alleviation, and improving living conditions. Develop critical infrastructure like quality roads, effective drainage systems, and robust energy networks.”, he reiterated.
