Moisturizing your skin is a wise idea.
You may think your skin is too oily or still young, but every type of skin needs to be moisturized each day. Apply a moisturizer while your skin is still wet or after a bath to make the moisture last long. Use an oil free moisturizer in case of oily skin.

For a dark skin tone: bold colours fit perfectly into a dark skin tone. Colours like raisin or brick highlight darker skin tone, bright tangerine colour also blends with dark toned skin.
3rd Tip – Choose The Right Colour And Formula For Your Skin Type.
When picking a blush, one should also consider putting the skin type in mind. It also contributes to applying a blush. To help you, we will specify the right blush for the right skin type.
For oily skin type: powder blush or matte finish blush is perfect for an oily skin. You can also consider using stain formulas, it makes your face look fresh and innocent, once it sets into the skin.
For normal skin: normal skin will always go with a cream formula, for its long lasting span. Cream blush is easy to use for most skin types, comes in tones of formulas, which gives the skin the youthful glow it deserves.
For a dry or aging skin: a dry skin is considered in going with powdered formulas, a wet formula is not advisable, when dry they crack up and end up giving the skin exaggeration of dryness.
4th Tip – Choose The Right Blush Brush.
Good blush brush enhances the goodness of blush and make-ups on the skin, whether it’s in big size or small. The bristles of a good blush brush should be smooth or itchy, soft, dense, yet firm with a lot of hairs, but very soft like the paw of a puppy. It’s also advisable to use a loosely packed brush, it picks little amount of blush and still gives you a fine colour payoff strong enough for what you desire, but a closely packed brush will pick up more products and end up making you look too colourful.

5th Tip – Applying Blush According To The Shape Of The Face.
Application of blush to achieve a perfect glow also depends on the shape of your face, that is you have to put the structure of the face bone into consideration.
For an Oval face: If you have a long face shape with a small cheek bone, a narrower chin, and a straight forehead, your face is oval. It’s recommended to apply the product to the popped part of the cheekbone using soft strokes, extend the blush downward towards the earlobe and blend up towards the temple ( upper part of cheek bone). You can add a little bit just above the temple, for perfection.
For a Heart-shape face: If you have a very popped cheek bone,a straight forehead, a narrower chin and a v-shaped jaw. Apply the product in a curved manner from the top of the temple to the base of the cheekbone. Apply more of the blush from the base to the top of the cheekbone, then apply lightly to the temple and blend together.
An oblong face: If you have a wide cheek, wide forehead and the jawline is also as wide as the chin, you have an oblong face shape. Apply the blush first to the popped tip of the cheek bone constantly, blend the product towards the nose and then bring it out towards the temple. Make a contact on the forehead and the sides of the brows with blush to bring about a perfect blend.
For a square face: If you have a straight face from the forehead to the base of the chin with a flat jaw bone, you have a square face. Apply blush directly to the apple in a circular manner. From the corner of the brow to the hairline, then blend it downward to the nose line.
For a round face: If you have a curved jawline and your cheek is taking most of your face, you have a round face. Apply blush by pulling in your chin, with hard-soft strokes, sweep the blush brush under the line of the cheekbone, then blend up to the temple. It’s advisable you don’t apply directly on the cheek bone, it makes the face look more round.
6th Tip – Blend Until It Blends.
You want a glowy natural blend, most of the time, brush is not quite right for blending. Makeup artists advise, to use makeup sponge. It gives the face a bold sense of depth, yet brings out the glow.
7th Tip – Limit Piled Up Blush With A Thin Cosmetic Product.
If the blush is accidentally too bright or piled up, makeup remover is not advisable to use, it limits the perfect glow you expect. Instead, mute the too bold blush by pressing lightly a bit of thin liquid foundation over it. A wet makeup sponge can be used to distribute the foundation evenly. This brings down the bold colour, yet giving it a rosy glow.
8th Tip – Use Blush Correctly Following The Right Step.
Blush can be used on any part of the face. With a touch of a cream blush, you can brush on the cheek, and use the finger to touch the remains, then apply on the eyelid and blend to the brow. You can also, press blush at the center of your lips, and blend it with lipgloss, to make the colour on the face rhyme.
9th Tip – Add Blush When Contouring.
When carving the jawline and the cheekbone, using only the makeup is incomplete without blush. Adding the blush formula, after the contour and before the highlight, brings about warmth and a natural look.
10th Tip – Put Blush Formulas In Layers.
If you want to stay glowy, probably in a stressful long day, or in an engrossed situation, where you won’t be able to redo your makeup. Apply the blush formula In layers for a long lasting result.
11th Tip – Seal In Your Look with A Setting Spray And Finishing Spray.
After applying your makeup, spray a makeup setting spray on your makeup, to shut the layers of your makeup into place all day long, for a blend, smooth natural look.
Also, apply a finishing spray, to extend the wear of your makeup.
