Bimbo is from Lagos, Nigeria. He started his tv career in 1985 as a presenter at Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation after completing from the University of Port Harcourt with a B.sc in Theater Arts (OGBC). He went on to work for Ogun State Television (OGTV) prior to actually starting his acting career in 1986.
